Goshen Blessings Uganda (GOBU) is an indigenous Organization founded in 2010, and registered with the National NGO Bureau Registration Number INDR132264539NB
Bishop Nelson Wesamoyo of Redeemed of the Lord Evangelistic Church. He had a pastoral ministry in Kiryandongo district in western Uganda and witnessed to a number of refugees from Rwanda, Burundi South Sudan and Bududa, moved by the overwhelming situation, GOBU was established as a platform where women would meet to share their experiences in the new life of being Refugees and in turn the women were empowered with skills for income generating activities to be able to sustain their lives.

GOBU aims at transforming & restoring needy communities through the following program areas; Health, Education, Environmental and climatic adaption conservation, Evangelism and Livelihood (HEEEL).

KEY PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED
- Nursery and Primary School in Kiryandongo District in Western Uganda funded by MUMC.
- Health Facility at Mirima Village in Kiryandongo District MUMC.
- The women goats project in Mirima Kiryandongo District MUMC.
- Family health in Amuria and Kaberamaido Districts funded by USAID/ IntraHealth.
- 60 Self-Help Groups in Bukasakya sub county industrial City division Mbale City.
To empower communities, understand and appreciate policies governing them and become their own advocates to register positive changes in their lives through engaging service providers for better strategic deliveries in financial, material and sustainable income generation ventures.
To promote good governance in the water, hygiene and Sanitation sector in an endeavor to increase community access. To develop capacity and skills for improved climatic adaptation and environment conservation for sustainable development. To strength community health welfare through promotion of improved health care services as a means of having economically active society. To promote good governance in poverty alleviation programs conducted by GOBU especially in sustainable Agriculture, Gender, Youth, Children and HIV/AIDS.
To advocate for the rights of communities especially the most vulnerable groups (women and children) to actively participate in all developmental programs affecting their daily lives.

OUR MISSION DEFINES WHAT WE SET OUT TO DO EACH DAY
Our mission is reaching out to vulnerable communities with Holistic Approaches of Empowering People Economically, Socially, physically and Spiritually for Sustainable Community Development. This is through HEEEL Approach.
Through USAID IntraHealth Sub-grant Goshen is Contributing to increased availability and utilization of high-quality health services with specific focus on Family Planning, Maternal New born Child Health (MNCH), Child survival, Nutrition, WASH and Malaria in Amuria and Kaberamaido Districts of operation.
Education- Providing primary Education in Kiryandongo District in Western Uganda.
Self Help Groups- Women, Men and Youths have saving Saving Groups where they save and borrow money among themselves. This is to increase on their income, through this, the group members have achieved among others the plot of land, bee keeping, crafts, piggery among others.
Environmental conservation and adaption is an important element in our cooperate culture and that no process is so important that we cannot find a safe, health and environmentally sound way of carrying out our activities, Government is in a processing of leasing Kadam forest reserve for Eco-tourism development by Goshen blessings Uganda.
Goshen engages the Village Health Teams (VHTs), District Health Teams (DHTs), Health Assistants (H/As) Health Information Assistants (HIAs), Facility In charges and other Health workers in extending Health services in the communities.
